Summary

Estonia's chances for survival in the institutional system of the European Union are extremely small. Estonia's survival would require that Estonia should constantly be on the lookout for common interests to share with larger Member States and that Estonia should follow these states in their wake. From the technical aspect, Estonia's survival would require that a large number of officials should work in the Community's institutions. From the legal aspect, Estonia's survival would mean that decisions taken in Brussels are implemented regardless of their usefulness or harmfulness to Estonia.
